Rafael Pacha is a Spanish multi-instrumentalist and the main composer of the progressive rock/folk band The Guildmaster. He has also long collaborated with progressive rock artists and bands such as Last Knight, Samurai of Prog, and Inner Prospekt.

 

Rafael has been a key player on Kimmo Pörsti's two solo albums, which led to the formation of Pacha & Pörsti, which has already released two albums.

 

Rafael Pacha has early roots in folk music. After playing in the bands "San Barandán" and "La Banda del Lago," he began his solo career in the early 1990s. To date, he has recorded more than 10 albums and a couple of soundtracks. Together with Manoel Macía, he has released seven collaborative albums.

 

Rafael's songs rely on inspiration, but he uses the language of various European musical traditions, yet his arrangements have a progressive touch. Therefore, his great music easily appeals to fans of both progressive rock and folk rock.
